How You Can Help Save Lives

Every cat or kitten you foster creates space for us to rescue even more animals in need.

We're looking for foster families for:

  • Bottle-fed kittens
  • Litters of kittens
  • Older cats who need a quieter home environment
  • Special needs cats (FeLV, Diabetes, or other chronic health conditions)

Foster Experience Overview

Duration: Foster stays vary depending on the needs of the cats or kittens

What We Provide:

  • All food, supplies, and medications
  • Medical care
  • 24/7 communication with our medical team for questions and concerns
  • Training for various foster situations

Your role as a foster parent:

  • Provide a safe environment for cats to grow and heal
  • Socialize cats and kittens
  • Give medications as needed
  • Transport cats to/from the shelter for check-ups and appointments
  • Regularly communicate with the medical team and foster coordinator

We even take care of getting all the cats and kittens adopted! All you have to do is love them and help them grow!

Requirements Before You Apply

Basic Qualifications

  • Age: 21 years or older
  • Housing: Own your home OR have landlord permission for pets
  • Transportation: Reliable vehicle and willingness to transport fosters
  • After your application has been submitted, you will receive a separate email containing a link to complete a background check through our third-party platform, Express Background Checks. This is a mandatory step in our adoption process and must be completed before moving forward.

Space Requirements

  • Quarantine room: Easy-to-disinfect, carpet-free space (bathroom, laundry room, etc.) for up to 3 weeks
  • Separation: Ability to keep foster cats completely separate from your personal pets throughout the entire foster period

High-Priority Foster Needs

We especially need fosters who are willing to:

  • Take litter groups (typically 3 or more kittens)
  • Bottle feed (experienced or willing to learn)
  • Care for cats with ringworm
