Every year we hold a ceremony to remember and honor the cats we’ve lost. This year is no different. Our Lights of Love event will be December 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Shelter. Luminaries will be available for purchase and of course, we have bricks, benches or hummingbirds if you want a more permanent remembrance of your loved one. 

Join us as we remember the Hermitage cats who’ve journeyed over the Rainbow Bridge. We ask you to bring a photo or memory to share of any special loved one’s you’ve lost. Shared grief is grief halved, and our shared memories keep our loved ones alive in our hearts.

We’ll light up the shelter, share some light refreshments and remember those who have passed – human or animal.
