Food For People’s Pets Pantry
The Michael Cannon Community Pet Food Pantry offers year-round pet food and supply assistance to families in need. No pet should go hungry because their family is struggling.
- Regular Hours:
- 3rd Thursday every month, 10am – 2pm
- 3rd Saturday every month 10am – 1pm
Pet Pantry patrons may pick up food on either Thursday or Saturday every month, but not both days.

Community Cat Colony Managers

Enrollment Requirements:
- Income Verification:
Participants must meet income guidelines following Arizona Department of Economic Security formula:- Eligibility: Families at or below 130% of federal poverty level
- Example: Family of 3 making less than $2,494/month
- Accepted Documentation:
- Participants must bring letters or benefit stubs proving receipt of qualifying assistance programs (specific programs not detailed on the page).
- Additional Requirements:
- Spay/Neuter Proof: Must provide documentation
- Original paperwork preferred
- Your Veterinarian can examine your pet and issue a certificate if original unavailable
- In-Person Enrollment:
- Applicant must appear personally
- Paperwork verification required on-site (letters, benefit stubs, etc.)
- Program Limitations:
- Client Cap: 200 families maximum (dependent on food availability)
- Current Status: Open for enrollment (subject to change)
