Wanted: Special people for a very special mission
Do you want to experience the heartwarming satisfaction that comes from helping some very special animals who can’t help themselves? If you have ever volunteered your time to help a worthy cause, then you know that wonderful feeling of self-satisfaction. If you have never been a volunteer, this would be a great opportunity to start! In either case, we want you!
If you believe that all life is precious, join our corps of volunteers and help The Hermitage carry out its mission. There are many ways that you can help save lives, find loving homes for deserving animals, keep our feline residents healthy, happy, and safe, and help obtain financial support. We need volunteers to do the following:

Donations to The Hermitage are deductible to the full extent allowed by the law under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.
Please note:
You can choose to volunteer at the shelter, or you can work from home. You must be reliable and willing to follow directions. Once you have received orientation/training and signed the volunteer agreement, you will be ready to help us carry out our mission as one of our valued volunteers.
You must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer unattended, and you must have the written consent of a parent/guardian if you are under age 18. If you are under 16 a parent or guardian must accompany you to volunteer and they will need to fill out an application as well. If you have court ordered Community Service please call us to find out if you are eligible to service with us.
